There’s good news for employers and HR professionals in the UAE:
Fines related to the Involuntary Loss of Employment (ILOE) insurance can now be waived* when an *employer submits a formal request through a Tasheel Center*.
Mr. Navas Abdul Khader, who is currently designated as a **PRO at Almoe Group of Companies, with **27 years of experience in the PRO field, and also **leading Supreme Digital Business Services, recently received a call from the **Ministry of Human Resources* regarding this update. As per the communication, employers can now *request a waiver of ILOE-related fines* by visiting any Tasheel Center and submitting a formal request.
What is ILOE Insurance?
ILOE (Involuntary Loss of Employment)* insurance is a mandatory scheme introduced to support employees in the *private and federal sectors*, providing temporary financial assistance in the event of involuntary job loss (e.g., termination or downsizing).
AED 5/month* (AED 60/year) for employees earning *below AED 16,000/month*
AED 10/month* (AED 120/year) for those earning *AED 16,000/month or more*
Failure to subscribe results in monthly fines, which continue to accumulate until resolved.
To be eligible for ILOE benefits, the employee must:
* Have subscribed for *at least 12 consecutive months*
* Have lost their job *involuntarily* (e.g., termination, redundancy)
* Not* have resigned voluntarily
* Not* have been dismissed for disciplinary reasons
* Submit their claim *within 30 days* of job loss
If employees did not subscribe on time, they may face fines. However, employers now have a solution:
➡ Submit a fine waiver request at any Tasheel Center*.
This provides a clear and compliant way to resolve the issue and support employees effectively.
At Supreme Digital Business Services*, we offer full ILOE support services, including:

* Submitting fine waiver requests* through Tasheel
* Complete *compliance support* for employers and employees
